Robyn Hitchcock - Spooked on vinyl on YEP ROC YEP 2086. I have had 2 copies of this both absolutely atrocious!! Sound of sizzling bacon throughout!!

Might help if you said what was wrong with them inherently or whether it was in comparison to some earlier (better) version?

The Killers -Sam's Town and Rush - Live In Rio are horrendous but the worst recording I own by a country mile is "Here to Save Your Soul" by the Jim Jones Revue.

The Killers' debut 'Hot Fuss' (2006) what I wrote on my Amazon one* customer review:

"The rim is rough and ragged, and the groove sounds like someone has pre-auditioned it with a 6-inch nail, there are so many clicks and intrusive surface noise. In comparison, the music coming from the typical flimsy 70s wobble-board record I abused as a teenager is still surrounded by an inky-black silence."

I haven't got any of the others, so can't comment.

Rubbish on both cd and vinyl is anything and everything by Oasis (and mean that in a serious way).
