The Killers -Sam's Town and Rush - Live In Rio are horrendous but the worst recording I own by a country mile is "Here to Save Your Soul" by the Jim Jones Revue.

The Killers' debut 'Hot Fuss' (2006) what I wrote on my Amazon one* customer review:
"The rim is rough and ragged, and the groove sounds like someone has pre-auditioned it with a 6-inch nail, there are so many clicks and intrusive surface noise. In comparison, the music coming from the typical flimsy 70s wobble-board record I abused as a teenager is still surrounded by an inky-black silence."
I haven't got any of the others, so can't comment.
Rubbish on both cd and vinyl is anything and everything by Oasis (and mean that in a serious way).
