Just listened to Christmas CDs. First Christy Moore "This is the Day". Very good indeed, the best he as done in ages. Then the Beach Boys "Carl and the Passions/Holland. Music wise this is a great double CD. Holland really is fantastic considering it was 1973!. It's a new digitally remastered 24bit CD whatever that means but still sound quality wise is disapointing. I am thinking of getting the other remastered Greatist Hits CD, is this the same sound quality? Can anybody help here. If so I don't think I will bother. Any other views on the sound quality of the Beach Boys CDs? Specially the latest digitally remasted ones. I know there has been umpteen threads in the past about the Beach Boys, but I think an update is in order.
