I am using a subwoofer along with SBLs at the moment.Unfortunately i am restricted on connection options due to lack of correct cables.
I have connected the sub via the high level speaker connections. I am leading cables from left and right sbl to the sub. Is it better to connect straight from 4 pin output on the supercap (in my case) or the way i have it now The sub is placed between the speakers and is forward of them.It does not seem to be slowing the music. It has a forward firing driver. If your sub woofer has provision for a low level input it MAY be better to connect from a "spare" output on the Supercap. Should this entail a long connection lead - it may be necessary to "pad" the lead at the Supercap end with a suitably rated resistor. It is quite possible that the high level connection will prove superior - there is some argument on this matter. |
