Enjoyed it Roy. I thought Sven's trip to the record library in search of some 7 inchers was a nice 'homage' to Humph. But I hope to see Samantha scoring more regularly in the future.

Yes George, I know what you mean but that was the first of six programmes, surely it's a bit early to say yet*. Rob Brydon and Jack Dee are going to be doing two each, and Fry has another.
I thought Victoria Wood freshened it up a bit too.

When I heard that Stephen Fry was going to be the first guest presenter I thought he would be ideal. Having listened to the broadcast I am saddened to realise how utterly irreplaceable Humph is.

Well, what did you make of it last night? I thought it was ok-ish.
I've started to think that the problem is not the chairman but the fact that his script is written by Iain Pattinson. No disrespect to Mr Pattinson is intended. It's just that his words were perfect when delivered in deadpan style by Humph, not so good when they are sexed-up as I think they were last night.
If Clue is going to work with script writer Ian Pattinson, then my money's on the dry Jack Dee. But I think it's more likely that each chairman needs their own writer.
