Really impressed with the Digital presentation at my local cinema tonight ..the end of second hand film stock!

The pictures were very sharp - with no scratches.

Shame the film wasn't a tad better!

One has just opened in the town near me ,I have not been yet, but it is supposed to have the most up to date Audio Visual HD kit in Ireland, so looking forward to it!

I've seen several films here in LA with digital and it's really amazing. Many are fearing the end of wonderful film but even Speilberg says he can't stop it, it is the wave of the future, and I'm thinking it's looking pretty good. Film by itself is really a caustic process and takes lots of chemicals. Digital is just electrical I believe.

The new Pixar film UP is really glorious and a great story to boot.
