I'm excited about high resolution digital sound, but I wonder if it's going to go the way of SACD, DVD-A and for that matter, Blu-Ray? There is a dearth of hi-res audio available for download; I've found only one album of moderate interest from the collective of Chesky, Linn, Naim et. al.

Is there anything else out there I should be checking out? Are contemporary artists, electronic composers and DJs in particular, doing any hi-res work? I'm not holding my breath for iTunes or the major labels to distribute their catalogs in hi-res anytime soon, but one always hopes.

It would be great to have the major labels follow Naim's lead and have a high res store for all their music .
