I'm expecting delivery of an HDX next week and plan to add an external touch screen. Any views on makes, models, screen sizes? I don't want to spend more than £300.

I would go with a netbook pc which has an 8.5 inch screen and can work wireed/wirelessly and you get the additional benefit of having a computer. There are many out there in your price range. The ones from ASUS (eee series) seem to be a pretty good value.
