A household name in the late sixties as a star of TV's Pogle's Wood Tog became a regular guest on chat shows and panel games; hosting "Saturday Night at the London Palladium" throughout its notorious 23rd season. In 1973 he was voted BBC Television, Arboreal Personality of the Year but after the failure of his new TV series and a string of ill advised marriages he retired from the public eye in 1975. His outspoken views on houmus and the notoriety that surrounded his once famous claim to be bigger than "Eric Clapton" meant that he was never far from the society gossip columns. A recent victim of the News Of The World's hacking scandal, Tog now lives in seclusion with his beautiful ex-model wife, several "Super-Injunctions" some Elk and many, many wonderfull cats.
