Display all tracks

Is there a way to display all tracks in the Uniti so i can delete duplicate files. I dont want to go through each album and then use the search to find that duplicate.

Unitiserve all one player 2TB, Yamaha RX-Z9, Focal speakers

All in one player

What are you using to store and serve your music files? A Naim server will display a track listing if the server can present it with one, but you will probably want to access the music files via a computer in order to edit or delete them.

Hi Adam, all my music is on the Unitiserve 2TB and is ripped by the US.

When you said you had an all in one player, I assumed that was a Uniti all-in-one. Putting your system on the System Details bit of your profile would make it easier to reply.

If you use a Mac computer, you can search for individual tracks using the N-Serve app, or on a PC, using the DTC. Alternatively, you may find it easier to view this list in the iOS Naim app, where it can be seen as a (very long) list rather than via an alphabetical search. However, the option to delete is only available by album, not track, presumably because, having ripped an album, it is assumed that you would want to keep it intact rather than delete bits of it. This rather begs the question, how have you ended up with duplicate tracks, if you have only CD rips in your library?

But... not sure if the above will give to the ability to delete individual tracks. I simply never tried it.

You can't delete from within the track listing, but you can delete individual tracks when viewed from within the album listing on N-Serve.

If you have a lot of compilations, as I do, you'll end up with duplicate tracks.

I'm using iTunes, but it's the fake compilations that drive me nuts. When an album gets flagged as a compilation because the artist field is messed up by those stupid "feat." post-scripts. I try to remember to check and set all artist fields to the album artist and un-check the "compilation" box. But when I don't, the filing and location of that album is a real lucky dip.

By default track view is disabled. You'd need to go to UPnP settinga and change 'track' from FALSE to TRUE.

Now you should see Tracks next to other virwing options (like Artist, Genre, etc)

But... not sure if the above will give to the ability to delete individual tracks. I simply never tried it.

Track view is already on True. But it dosent appear in the list with artists and albums.

You should be able to see this, in the Naim app, not the N-Serve app, but either way, it is no use to you as you cannot edit in it. As per my earlier post, you need to do this in the N-Serve album listing.
