Where did you buy it. I've heard the vinyl release has been delayed.

Hi Steve

I got my copy from my local Indie store Rapture in Witney Oxfordshire, popped in to order a copy and was told that it came in on Friday.

For everybody else that asked it is one of those albums you might want to order a spare copy of...  Great recording, working away for a couple of days and can't wait to get back home to play it again.

The sticker says, "Plated and Pressed at Pallas MFG, Diepholz, Germany"

Ordered this in January, hope it was worth waiting for!

One of my favourite albums of the year so far, Debs.
Hope you enjoy it!

Been looking for this for yonks. I think it is only semi-legit as I got it for just £12 (brand-new and sealed) plus postage from Germany and an original goes for £75 or so - as far as I know it has never been reissued on vinyl, and only once on a now very rare CD:

Pleased to see it's still at the low price Kevin. The SQ is good.

I bought this for about the same this morning at the market. The Backtrack Jimi Hendrix albums are a cheap way of buying Track issues compared with the very expensive 1st presses. SQ is excellent.

Excellent Steve, look forward to putting it on shortly. "Zuma" was a big hole in my NY collection.

Hi K, I think you will enjoy "Zuma" I have only played two albums all week Zuma & the rather fantastic Roger Daltry Wilco Johnson album, both excellent. Enjoy.

Heard lots of great things about that Wilko/Daltrey album G... am seriously considering it.

Pieces of a Man  Gil Scott-Heron's début studio album originally released in 1971.

Limited Edition reissue / gate-fold sleeve 180g vinyl - features  Home Is Where The Hatred Is, Lady Day & John Coltrane and The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.

+1 The vinyl is great. If you don't have Day Trip/Tokyo Day Trip Live its a must have. A triple (!) gatefold LP cover, and the recording and pressing quality is fantastic.

Original 1987 recording , still in shrink wrap - mint for $4

Suzanne Vega - Suzanne Vega, used but in near mint condition.

New Vinyl, re-releases, all on 180 gm.

The Journey So Far, the best of Loreena Mckinnett

On RhinoVinyl

and finally, the 40th anniversary remaster re-issue (can not believe it was that long ago)

It was one of the few of hers that I do not have, had the chance to see her live way back when she was a regular on the club scene in Toronto.  Always entertaining.

I have just spent the last 3hrs listening to this new release from [Music on Vinyl], to say I am impressed is an understatement! I have had the CD of this concert for sometime and it sounds quite good, but this blows it away. All six sides are superb  in SQ, pressing and mix. It has just taken both my partner and myself back to when we saw LC in Birmingham on this very tour. Highly recommended if you are a fan of the sublime Mr C.

it's 'okay' but does sound rather digital.

I was going to order this as I have not got it, would I be better off finding a decent original pressing?

Thanks,

Andy.

Yes Andy,

and the price has gone up to near 14 quid too.

i think you would get a lot more fun with an original.

I've listened to this new remaster a couple of times and find the SQ to be so very plain flat boring.

THB i've never heard an orignal City to City on vinyl but used to own Night Owl LP which in SQ terms would widdle all over this new remaster.
