How shall I listen to my new copy of Beck's 'Sea Change?'

Okay, here we go. The deliveries have started from Amazon. Yesterday Canada Post drop a parcel containing the original master recording of Sea Change, as well as a very heavy copy of Kind Of Blue (Tony Russell, take note!). I say heavy, because both albums weigh substantially more than any vinyl I ever owned in the past.

As Peter (Cymbiosis) has indicated, Rega had a slight 'hiccup' with the new arm on the RP3 (which held up production), and has since been rectified. Any day I expect to hear from my dealer (hififofum) telling me my RP3 has arrived.

I stare at my burgeoning record collection (Concert For Bangladesh, All Things Must Pass, Sea Change, and Kind Of Blue) and I become weak-kneed, and wonder how much longer? In a few weeks, a primo recording of Bop Till You Drop will be delivered.

In the mean time, I found software for my Mac that has allowed me to rip the soundtrack from my copy of the 2005 Reunion of Cream at the Royal Albert Hall to my hard drive. My first serious audition of this occurred  this morning, and all I can say is gloriosky! (apologies to Annie!). Could these guys cook, or what? My nSats sounded so good! Something very special happens when Jack Bruce and Eric and Ginger get together. I last heard Jack Bruce at a special concert here in 2002. He performed in "A Walk Down Abbey Road: A Tribute to the Beatles", with Alan Parsons, Todd Rundgren, Mark Farner, Christopher Cross, Godfrey Townsend, John Beck and Steve Murphy. What a night of music!

In any event, within days I shall be listening to the new medium: VINYL!

An update — Who's Next and Abbey Road just arrived, making a total of six albums in my collection.

I'm not a huge Beatles fan, but I do like to listen to their music once in a while, and only having Abbey Road won't be enough, obviously. A friend just picked up the Beatle's U.K. Blue Box ('Beatles Collection') and says the sound is amazing. This seems to be quite a definitive set. Does anyone have experience with this collection, and can you recommend the best version?
