Noticed when i was looking at the update that the artwork in grid view appears as below.
I get album artwork displayed but don't see the same as the image above in Album view or Artist view - only if i list by tracks ?

James,
It works for me, just like the picture. It looks rather good.
You need to select grid view before selecting album view

I don't get the slide bar volume control. I get three icons for volume up, down and mute, as I always have. Also, I no longer get Library and Player. Instead, I get an icon which swiches between the two.

I'd do a screen grab and post it if I could see the forum controls when using the iPad so that's an old generic picture above. David , I get the same whether going into grid first or not. Very strange as album art is served up fine but not in grid mode ( unless I choose tracks and then grid mode displays album art). Theres only one UPnP server i've not tried yet and that's Asset using crossover mac. Just to check if that's the issue.

Life's to short and I've got new CD's to rip. Asset's not for me. Although crossover mac is quite neat.

do you embed art? or do you use a folder.jpg?

Not sure if people realise, as unless you have multiple units you would not, the view you see depends on the 'player' used.
The slider volume is a uniti/Quite, the +- mute buttons are with NDX / ND5. I've never noticed a difference in art view, but it's entirely possible.
James, your using an NDX/ND5 ? The artwork shown is, I belive, a Uniti unit.
