Anyone have any recommendations? I've have to admit to having never heard of him, I followed a Facebook link to him.

I do know he has a lot of Strats including a '61 in the Rory G Tattycaster style.

Recently he's been connecting with his blues roots - check out 10 Days Out:Blues from the Backroads (particularly if you can find a copy with the DVD of the event) and Live in Chicago.

I also like his early stuff, Ledbetter Heights being a good place to start.

Cheers

I'm with Dave on this. KWS's latest is I think his least successful. Too just American MoR rock! His earlier work is more varied and fun. But of course that is only opinion! I like his 'supernatural'.

Thanks guys.

I'll listen to some earlier stuff, the latest album is OK but as  you say a bit AOR/MOR perhaps.

Judging by the waveforms when playing it looked a bit on the "loud" side too.

Definitely the "10 days out" album, give it a try!
