I watched the George Harrison thing and, of course, the music was excellent, but isn't it a pity that Martin Scorsese's approach is so drawn out.

To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of these rocumentaries, as you learn very little and they always try to emphasise the least interesting bit - i.e. the dude's personal life. When I'm more interested in the music. Still there wasn't anything bad they could say about George.

Not really. I thought it was excellent. Beautiful film-making. Hardly any flab at all.  You young people these days have no patience.

I really enjoyed part 2 although part 1 was of less interest. Personally, I liked the exploration of the artist and don't believe, in any case, that you can separate the art from the artist.The aspects dealing with his personal life and snap shots of his character were done very tastefully I thought.
