'Velvet Chain'

Anyone else know of the L.A. based band? I have an 'Instrumentals' CD and love it. Great rock; well played - and here's the kicker boys and girls - these guys know how to record - producing a superbly transparent, spacious and dynamic sound.

There is a 'Buffy' connection. This from their web-site:-
"Velvet Chain appeared on one of the first episodes of the cult hit, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." In this episode, two Velvet Chain songs were used ~ "Strong," and "Treason." This television appearance (and repeats of the episode) have created national exposure for Velvet Chain in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and other parts of the world. The band's dark, moody vibe has attracted thousands of Buffy fans to the Velvet Chain website."

I like their musical style, excellent musicians, recording Q and the female vocalist is superb.

The female vocalist is what I particularly liked about them. The 'Live at the Temple Bar' cd is the one I went for. Thanks DB.
