R.I.P. Keef.

Sad news indeed.  Sunday mornings spent listening to The Time Is Near are an indelible part of my teenage years.  I managed to get a copy signed by all the boys in the band including Gary Thain which I still have.  I listen to my CD version now though.  His playing with John Mayall was superb as well.  Really sad news.

Saw Keith's band in Torquay about 1971. Have always enjoyed his music from Rory Storm and the Hurricanes through the Artwoods and his own band along with his work with John Mayall. RIP
