Wifi problem

Hi to the naimes I got a unity qute but am having problems with internet ie no Internet radio every think is fine but I can not connect directly is there a another way of connecting to the router am not very good with this type of new tecnogly please excuse my spelling thanks terry

hi. You will surely get more helpful informations, but you can connect your UnitiQute to the router via LAN cable.

Do you have an encryption code to set in the Qute for the WiFi? Has the Qute found the network when you have started it? Sorry if I ask silly questions but you didn't give many details on your problem.

If you would care to explain more, someone might solve it I hope.

Maxbertola thanks for getting back to me yes the qute has found the network but still not playing I radio very frustrating indeed router in a different room that's the problem tel

Hi Terry Had the same problem. I turned off all of the security on my router, think i was using WEP-TSK. Then try the radio, if everything works without security then you have to start trying different kinds of WEP, untill you find one that works with your Qute. Don't know if this is the best solution, but it worked for me.

You should not be using wep as a security prtocal anyway. Use wpa2 personal.

Also tel how have you connected wireless is it on dhcp or have you set an ip address.

It sounds like you have a dns issue on your naim, ie it has no reference for finding the statons your attempting to connect to.

Thanks for everyone but I have connected it throught the mains and I've got all the stations it was just not connecting on wi fi.i was just not getting any signal but it's up and running very please now thanks again for your replar tel
