And you look ten years younger, James. Anyway, we've a table booked at the excellent Carpenters Arms in Great Wilbraham, so I'm actually looking forward to it. The once lovely Hole in the Wall in Little Wilbraham is now not worth a visit, even for lunch. Such a shame. But that's what happens when a semi-finalist from the Great British Menu takes over, I suppose. By the way. Yes, I've had a few, and have just finished watching the silly Planet of the Apes film. So forgive my ramblings.

I was 58 on the 29th. Mom always apologized for having me 4 days after Xmas. I always said I never went to school , played in the snow and came home to hot coco and a cake after dinner.

This year I bought myself really good cookware, and a few small orchids on my 5 day trip to Santa Barbara . 2012 has to be better.
