20 albums on 10 CD's for £13 delivered.
Sounds expensive to me!
These European grey market releases are pretty nice if you want to get into an artist on the cheap.
i purchased a box-set last August, and they all sound fab (musically and sonically)
Very Recommended imho, a true bargain for 13 quid : )

Yeah, Stu. Seeing some of your posts in the past I'll take it as a compliment.
Still , you keep me and others entertained.
Cheers mate and happy new year,
.
The problem for me would be that although I like Miles, I tend to listen only occasionally in small bites and when I do it is generally the choices that everybody recommends (Birth of the Cool, Sketches of Spain, Bitches Brew, Kind of Blue and, of course, In a Silent Way). I wonder how much of 20 CD set I'd sit and listen to. In the past I'd have snapped this up because of its price, but now I wonder if a few well chosen pieces is more appropriate for me.
It is not just Miles I'm thinking of applying that approach to. I have more Keith Emerson recordings than probably Keith does himself, but I only listen to a few favourites; the rest is simply my rather silly urge for completeness. And some Vincent Crane recordings I have are dreadful; I'm sure even Vince, were he still around, would say why have you kept that?
Nonetheless I'm always grateful for such posts as a bargain is a bargain.
It is good value at 65p per CD.
I used to pay 50p a time for blank CD-Rs and when viewed like that it is remarkable.
Guido,
That the great thing about holding your music electronically.
Historically I would have put on a few albums, and listened to at least a side. No I generally listen to smaller, more varied selections, for instance this morning:
Eagles / Star Wars Original Soundtrack / Oscar Peterson / Prokofiev Romeo & Juliet / Rossini Barber of Seville / Bon Jovi Keep the Faith.
Of which the Oscar Peterson & Prokofiev did I listened to in its entirety.
P.S. WRT to Leveson, I saw your tag on the BBC and suspected it was one and the same, hence my question.
M
There are a lot of different "Eight Albums" collections available at the same low price and worth at least a browse. Pulling up one at Amazon gets you links to the others. They're all "temporarily out of stock" here in the States, but private sellers have them for the same price.
