BBC Radio 5 Live "Can't Play, Station unavailble"

Has anyone else experienced this? It's the same with the NDX and the Unitiserve. Tunein Radio has no problems. Granted, the broadcast content and pitiful bitrate mean that it's not a hifi disaster, but it is a pain that I have to plug the iPad/Touch into the USB and use Tunein to get this station.

Yes, you were probably trying to listen to a footy match? It's all to do with the content broadcast rights, and sometimes they are limited to radio or specific territories in which case they can't be streamed over the net. But you might have found a relay that is not strictly legal.

Thanks Simon, but would this explain why it's available on the Tunein Radio app?

Hi, I am not sure, as I am not familiar with that app. But if 5 live works elsewhere, then stops on certain programmes, this is most likely the issue. I expierience this when trying to stream my local BBC station when they are covering a local game.
