Albums that don't need remastering or any messing about with?

I have just put this classic album on my LP12,and it struck me.

Why in the world would anyone want to mess with this?

Do any of you have albums you would not want anyone to mess with?

I would not want  Coughman any where near this.

Gregg,

I have never heard of her or that album.

But trusting your taste I have JUST ordered a copy blind.

I like to live on the edge lol.

Its nice to get some music without a listen.

Is this the right one?

Thats the one Stu.

Don't just take my word.  Remember the Steve Hoffman forum - many on there say it is the best release of the last 10 years.  IMPECCABLY recorded - even the CD sounds incredible.

She was with the group Rilo Kiley - also good stuff.  This is her second solo album from 2010.  Her first solo, Rabbit Fur Coat, is also great and an amazing recording.

Gregg,

I have just also bought acid and rabbit on CD both for £6.96 inc post..

Will let you know what i think when they get here.

I  know one of the mods on the Hoff forum.

I hope to get over to his place in a couple of months time?

He is only a hour and a half drive from me.

Will be taking a large portable hard drive and some ear defenders as he plays very VERY loud.lol

This is another brilliant album that does not need to be messed with imo.

It just needs to be put on vinyl though imo.

I do not think this would gain from the re-mastering process

This is the only track I have ever heard that sounds as good on a Linn DS as it does on a Naim system
