Naim Credo terminals have fallen into the crossover module

Posted by: Cloud9 on 23 January 2012

Hi ,

I purchased a pair of credos - to replace a pair that had developed a buzzing sound in the bass unit.

I noticed that the replacement pair were not as nice souonding as the first - so I proceeded to alter the distance of the spikes from the floor positioned subtly differed from back wall etc - this constant plugging and unplugging of the naca 5 into the terminals caused the terminals of one speaker to come loose and rattle around inside the crossover module -

The module looks like a sealed unit - is there some way it can be dismantled in order for me to somehow repair the terminals  ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'd have gone to my dealer in the first instance. Tony

Unhook the cross-over and do what Tony says.
