ID3 taggs for AIFF files

Hi,

I just ripped my complete CD-collection in 16bit AIFF file format using iTunes. I am able to access the artist/songtitles/etc in iTunes. However when i play the exact same files over my ND5, I have to browse by folder since neither the songtitles or artist name seems to be preserved in the AIFF files....

I tried changing the ID3 tags using Kid3 for mac, but it doesnt seem to do the magic. What am i doing wrong?? Maybe it is the UPnP disc? Or other tagging software for mac? Or......

Hope somebody can help!

What UPnP server are you using ?

Try Playback or Majestic as Mac UPnP servers. It'll work with the iTunes library and serve correctly to the ND5. No need to bugger about changing tags etc.

Thanks for the tip!

I am using a dedicated NAS server (Qnap TS-119P+) which again uses Twonky as a UPnP software....I am not after using my mac as a UPnP since the system would depend on the mac being on or off!
