Plugboard/surge protector (right forum ?)

Can anyone recommend a high quality surge protector/plugboard suitable for NAIM gear ? A short (1m) lead is preferable. I am looking at Belkin Extreme/Advanced Series. Cost not too much of an issue given the equipment costs !      Thanks.

I know some of his products are met with derision on this forum but i have used a Russ Andrews silencer block with megaclamp for many years now. I originally purchase it when i had an Arcam FMJ setup but no use on my present Supernait /HDX plus FMJ tuner system. The compenent quality is high and can be customised to your exact needs, as the lead comes seperately  and you have option of cable/connector quality and length. The block can also be screwed to the wall if wanted to raise the spaghetti of the floor. QED also do a cheaper power block without the fancy filtering that seems to review well, some plug a Russ Andrews mains silencers or clarifier into one of these. Of course all depends on the quality of your mains supply as to whether the filtering options make any difference.

The question is why do you think you need one of these ??

Naim advise agaist them & IME they affect sound quality & the claimed benifits are somewhat dubious.

I agree with Mike.

Any type of mains filtering/surge protection will degrade the musical performance of a Naim system, and Naim specifically warn against using it. Just use the standard supplied mains leads, a Grahams Hydra or if you want better then save for Powerlines. Don't waste your money on anything else.
