n-stream

I have another convert to the cause.
They want to know if the n-stream is available for Android - I can't find it listed so I suspect not - but if anyone knows for certain it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi Andrew
I was at the 12:30 Naim demo slot at the Bristol Show on Sunday, where Doug said that they were working on an Android version of the app but that for now the only versions were Apple ones. So, you'll have to wait and see when/if an Android version materialises but the suggestion was that one was in the pipeline (and this was an unsolicited comment rather than a response to a question).
Cheers
Ian
Then how about one for Windows, to use on the laptop as well ?
I had not tried the app until recently but I must admit it is very good. My daughter came home with an Ipod Touch last week and I loaded the app onto it. Now, I have to wrestle it off her to use it. She got back at me by changing the password. I retaliated by changing the wireless password - that'll teach her
I can't quite justify spending £100+ for a remote control device though so I'll struggle on with Asset upnp.
I am using a Synology NAS as the music server, feeding the ND5XS with music files. Interestingly, Synology has produced an Android uPnP remote application called "DS Audio". The best part is that DS Audio is completely free.
No harm in giving it a try if you are using a Synology NAS. Personally, I find it not bad at all.

You can use the Naim Desktop Client on a windows computer. (But, ironically, there is no Mac version of it!)
Afraid Desktop Client doesn't work with the Uniti.
It is a bit strange (read frustrating) how Naim needs either Mac or Windows to do certain things but neither platform will do everything.
Desktop Client - Windows
N-Stream - Apple
Firmware Upgrades - Windows
N-Stream - Android (possibly)
This is why I do not have a Naim streamer yet!
NAIM, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!
As always thanks - it's what I thought.
