Superuniti wifi connection question

Posted by: mogul on 02 March 2012

I am stunned by the quality of music being played by my new superuniti playing a cd555. But I'm  failing with the wi fi connection. I'd appreciate any problem solving advice from those who know how. I'm not a complete idiot which such things but I am working my way in that direction!

Hard to help without more details. My SU arrived yesterday and was connected in 2 minutes! It comes set to wired network so go to settings menu then network and choose wireless (this is all in the manual - have you downloaded the full manual from the Naim website? The quick start guide is really weak!). When you have chosen wireless the names of available networks will appear automatically. Click on the one you want to use and then enter the password with the remote. Job done!

Mine was certainly very simple to set up

That's exactly what I did. The SU recogized the network but rejests the password, even though we know it is the correct one for the wifi modum. Thanks for trying.

Have you taken care to watch out for capitalisation? Mo unwanted blank spaces in the password? Have you connected other devices already, so that you know there is not a glitch in the password?

Yes, other devices work. The password is all numeric so caps aren't an issue either...the puzzle continues. I think I may be headed to a hard wire connection.
