Unitiqute remote stopped working Apart from vol & mute

A friend of mine has a Unitiqute and for some reason out of the blue the remote has stopped working apart from the volume and mute buttons.

It did work perfectly well before and still can controlled using there iPhone app.

Any ideals anyone ?

An obvious point but has your friend tried new batteries? When my Qute remote got a bit cranky (some buttons worked but not others), I tried new batteries and all is well again! If this does not work, try cycling through on/of. I do that sometimes when the n-Stream application cannot hunt my Qute.

We have tried new battery's but that didnt resolve the issues. I suggested a factory reset on the main menu but that's not cleared it either.
