Unitiserve Missing Track Info

Just picked up a Unitiserve SSD today and am busy feeding the hungry little blighter CDs. 

 

When a certain album isn't found in the AMG database, the Unitserve appears to look in a second database called FreeDB. I have a couple of slightly obscure CDs which the UnitiServe cannot find the metadata for in either database - I would be really grateful if anyone has any suggestions for plan B or is it simply a case of manually tying in the titles and uploading the album cover?

Assuming that you're on a Windows PC at home then use the Desktop Client application and then you can edit the data yourself...

Yes for me that's the easiest way forward.  Recently I ordered a cd from the band itself (The Decemberists) and it was shipped the day it was released.  The database did not recognize the discs and it seemed to take several weeks.  One feature of the DTC is that you can select a disc and re-query the database at any time.  That's helpful for new releases but probably doesn't solve your obscure title issues.

 

Just to the manual update via the DTC (WHICH HOPEFULLY WILL COME TO OS X SOOOON  /rant off)
