A tip for those who backup from NAS to USB.

I recently had to recover a backup from a USB Drive to my ReadyNas Duo, documented in a previous thread.

The process was straightforward and was completed within 2.5 days. I have now just noticed that I have a number of duplicated artists and albums when viewing the music library. The pattern was soon evident it was any music file that I had amended, e.g. switching "The Beta Band" to "Beta Band, The", adding cover art to those missing them and various other changes.

The reason for the duplication must be due to the fact that the regular backups I did previously were  only done incrementally, therefore the backup process seems to have recognised the amended  file as a new file. 

In future I need to do full backups from time to time
