I have experience of both units and for me; the Naim ND5XS is a better sounding machine. I had the Transporter for over a year (I have several other Logitech streaming devices) and found that it was great sounding streamer with a host of user friendly functions. However it developed a fault and was returned under warranty. Whilst it was away I borrowed the ND5XS. When the Transporter was returned, the direct comparison revealed the Transporter to be less well defined and quite uninvolving compared to the Naim. Subsequently, the replacement Transporter developed the same fault and I was issued a refund by Logitech. I now have the ND5XS!
