Superuniti quickie

Does the superuniti have have a unity gain input? Thinking of getting one but it needs to take an input from my nVi.
Thanks
Peter
Thanks for that. Which input do you use as I couldn't see one for unity gain on the on line manual.
I'm considering changing my supernait so I have streaming options.
Peter
You can use any input. Any analogue input can be assigned to fixed volume on the SuperUniti. As per the manual:
4.3.8 Rear Panel Analogue Inputs
Parameter Options
Enabled:
Yes / No
Name:
User definable
Input Trim:
±10dB
AV Fixed Volume:
Yes / No If No is selected the input will behave normally. If Yes is selected the input will operate at a fixed volume and the SuperUniti volume control will be disabled. This enables SuperUniti to be used in multi-channel AV systems with volume control handled by the AV processor. Take care when selecting AV Fixed Volume.
Yes, I had to look it up...

Frank.

Brilliant - thanks Frank.
Does HDX - nDac -SuperUnity together with my old and loved SBLs (and nVi) seem like a good system? I'm awaiting my dealer to get the kit together for an audition.
Peter
Hi Peter,
Certainly does. The SuperUniti is a rather cracking piece of equipment to use as a hub, and it has more than enough power to drive your SBLs.

But what about Mojo? Does it have any Mojo?
Jim Morrison had mojo.
In this case it applies to how the music plays, not the electrical components.
In NaimWorld, Mojo=PRAT, I believe.
I found the SU has loads of mojo when streaming. When using it as an amp, with separate source, was a bit jinxed.
