A man breaks down on the motorway. He is driving a Reliant Robin.

Lucky for him, his mate pulls up, and he's driving a BMW 7 series. "No problem, I'll give you a tow..."

They set off, at a sedate speed. After about a mile, a Jaguar XK8 passes the pair, and the Jaguar driver makes a rude gesture to the BMW driver, Forgetting the Reliant Robin, the race is on....

Mile after mile, the BMW chased the Jag, and they passed a police motorway patrol.

"Look at that pair of silly beggars", said one officer...

"Forget them" said the second. " Look at the Reliant Robin. He's flashing his lights, and beeping his horn. He's trying to get past both of them....."

That really isn't acceptable.

Agreed - totally inappropriate - and well just plain wrong. 

Not even a joke, just a racist slur. Not wanted on here.

I suspect a few have reported it but the moderators are Christmas shopping.

It seems jokes about paedophiles raping kids at the BBC are fine, as are jokes about people dying in a Scottish bar. I guess the PC brigade have taken over the asylum.

Perhaps not acceptable. But I'd argue that they are also very different to the post in question in that they don't invoke a prejudice and hatred against arbitrary groups of people. The jokes referred to might be distasteful, and they may trivialize significant events, but they're not in the same league.

I'm sure the mods will attend to this as soon as they come online again but please be aware that a number of postings this weekend appear to have offended a number of people and we have received complaints ... the title of this thread is "Best Jokes" so please can we keep it to that?
