Apple help please.

I have made the move from PC to Apple with very few problems to date, & I have to say I am very happy with the decision I made.
The only thing I need from my old 'pc' days is Microsoft office - easy - Office for MAC, which is installed and running, no problem.
What I would love to do is get all (or as much as possible) data from PC office -> Apple office, which is causing me great confusion.
I like keeping all of my emails available to search (thousands in the last 4 yrs or so) and would also like to just transfer all of the email accounts (6) without having to go through the rigermerole of re setting everyone up again on the new Mac. Help! I've tried the export on the PC to a pst file and you just end up with a file 'somewhere' that you cannot nominate (I want it to go to a usb stick?). Plenty of programs out there to go from PC to apples 'entourage' but non from outlook to outlook! Outlook for Mac's help pages are great at telling you how to import the data (which I have done with some stuff) but not how to get it to a stage to import in the first place..
Anyone any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated, then this old PC can finally go for the flying lessons it's always been asking for.

From Outlook do the following:

File>Import Export
Select export to file
.pst file
select folder to export

I then get the option to browse to a location to save the file

This is using outlook 2007.
Having said all that I started using OSX mail much less bloated

I was going to smash mine up with a sledge hammer as reward for all the stress it had caused me. Thought I might post the video on youtube. Poor old Dell. In the end I didn't....too soft.

Graham, I cannot get it to go to the file I want, no matter how I try :-(, but I will try again.
Lontano - you should try it, very enlightening. Their skills at gliding have to be seen to be believed, and thay seem to know just how many pieces to break into (many thousands). Best of all was an Epson printer, never worked properly, then became exceedingly sulky about printing some very urgent docs. I gave it several choices, but seemingly learning to fly was it's goal in life.
I am certain that Office won't get the better of me.
