For all F1 fans on the forum, "Senna - The movie" is a must see.
Totally addictive from beginning to end. A proper tribute to the great man!
Totally agree, absolutely gripping.

Occasionally brilliant. Too often a complete plank.
Today's race is still sitting on the grid.
A bit of rain brings F1 to a stand still.
The MOTO GP ran at Silverstone today in the wet/rain.
That said Have you Guy's seen Alan McN's crash at Le Mans yesterday?
Its one of the best crashes i have seen for years.
I can only say its one of the best because no one was hurt.
How no one was hurt or even killed is beyond me.
Its on utube if you have not seen it.

Blimey.
So who was driver of the day then..?
Great GP , well done Jenson.
Well done Audi too.
Rockenfeller's Audi accident was even more destructive only the central monocoque was left at the side of the road
Blimey.
So who was driver of the day then..?
Not blinking Vettel for once!
He's going to be world champ by a country mile so thank provenance for the small victories!!!
Well done Jenson!
Well done Jenson!
Isn't he under investigation for the Hamilton incident.
I think everyone's under investigation for something!
Is Martin Brundle blind.
He insisted Weber gave Hamilton enough room, yet replay after replay indicated he didn't. He also kept saying Button looked into his left mirror and must have seem Hamilton. replay after replay indicated he looked before Hamilton moved to the left.
BRING BACK MURRAY.
JB won that.Brilliant in my book.
Stu
Howard,
Peter was there with Tom.
I hope he was in the right place to get some good pics??

17 years ago today we lost Ayrton Senna, Roland Ratzenburger the day before.
Personally my world has not been the same.
Go and see Senna the Movie to see what we lost.
I will never forget that weekend as long as i live.
I saw the lifeless RR sitting in his car and felt sick.
I recorded the main race on a VHS tape.
Got home pressed play and started to cry.
That night i went to a friends home.
There were 8 of us their all crying like children.
Other than the day John got shot ,I cant think of anything that has moved me so much as that did.
I had a female friend that lived a couple of doors down at the time,Her boyfriend knew i had recorded it.He knocked on my door on the Tuesday after to ask if he could buy the tape off me?
I pulled all the tape out of that VHS box when i got home in the early hours of the Monday morning.
At that time there was no internet re-runs so to speak so he new he could make money out of it.
I put him in hospital.I am not proud of it.
He just made me flip over the edge..

Well done Bradley in MOTO2 fantastic ride.
That certainly was one of the greatest Grand Prix for a very long time, well worth the wait and in my case staying up for.
An amazing drive by Jenson, that re-ignites the drivers championship I think. Vettel has the better car, but not necessarily the best skills.
And in fact I think the BBC did a very creditable job of filling an hour and a half of dead air time. Brundle went a bit anecdote-y, but you got an unexpected insight into why George Lucas doesn't make sports films, but that if he did, and employed Eddie Jordan as a casting director, then he'd get to play Bernie himself. Er, I think. And Jake whassisface is no taller than Mark Webber (which seems unlikely).
Great race for sure.
Just checked he's still got the win post stewards
Most of the 'investigations' seemed to be a bit OTT in what was a very wet race. What are the drivers supposed to do? Follow in line astern or try and overtake? And when you try and overtake in those conditions, there will be contact.
I think Stewards are a good plan but should be there to protect others from the bloody stupid. Almost by definition, any passing move yesterday could appear to be bloody stupid in that weather...So track factors need to be taken into account clearly
Paul Di Resta made a minute mistake in judgement in bloody awful track conditions but that did not merit a drive through IMO. Shouldn't Alonso by the same logic get a penalty in the next race for shutting out Jenson? I don't think so. And Heidfeld? And any number of others? Daft.
I loved it when rain had stopped play.
You had walking the pit lane with not much clothing on.
Feeling the cold some one gave her a coat.
She then hooks up with Lewis and he say's Have you seen one of these before? pointing at his car.
She says no.The cams and mikes then move.
Did I mishear, or did Bumble ask Coulthard if he thought that Lewis Hamilton would trade a couple of World Championship points for a poke at Rihanna?
As usual Sniff Petrol has its view...
I've got 500 vinyl albums. When I go home, I love poring over the cover artwork and production notes. I like to place the needle on the record and hear the scratching sounds before the music begins. I listen to 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' more than anything else.
A quote from a recent interview with Sebastian Vettel...wonder if he has a Naim system?

The is a reason I like this guy.
So, Miles, when are you getting a record player?
John

Not any time soon, but Vettel will be able to buy a lot more vinyl after his second championship.
Has anyone else heard the rumour that BBC are dropping F1 next season?
