I saw Hilary Hahn at Carnegie Hall on February 15th, she was playing with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra (where she trained in Philadelphia).  They performed the Pulitzer prize winning violin concerto by Higdon (also from Philadelphia).  This piece was written for her.  Pretty cool all around.  Great performance!  I got to meet both of them after the show.

I think you will find the Brit PFS is a new band as APFS is touring this in the UK also.
It is the old ASPFS promoter with the new British PFS.

We are seeing BPFS 25/04, and hoping they are at least as good as APFS, who were excellent.

Yr right,  it isn't the original Australian PF.
The Ozz PF were constantly changing the line up since they started around 1988(ish),  only the founder members Steve Mac & Jason Sawford remained the same.
The 2010 band broke up when four players & two sound & graphics peolpe left to form the Brit PF.
The Ozz band have now reformed around the two founders & are currently touring Europe & have some dates in UK this month

The following Brit PF band have all played with the Ozz band
Damian Darlington - guitar - played with the Ozz band since 1994
Ian Cattell - bass guitar - played with the Ozz band since 2005
Bobby Harrison - guitar - played on the last US tour
Rob Stringer - keyboards - played on US tour
Gareth Darlington - Sound & FOH Engineer - worked with Ozz PF since 1998
Bryan Kolupski - Graphics Animation - worked with Ozz PF since 2001

You are so right,  the old band were excellent,  so with the above listed names as key contributors I have no problem expecting the same from the new band & the stage show.

Mike,
Thanks for that, I'm duly relieved , we were thinking it was a possible stitch up. It was very difficult (at the time) to get that info.

We have seen all these guys with APFS so it should be another good show.

Are you watching Glen?
