Perhaps more to be announced. His official website tour page is at:
http://www.hackettsongs.com/tour.html
I am not sure if I can make it to his shows this year, but might try the Manchester one, or perhaps hope he plays Holmfirth again. It is an excellent band he has right now, with Nick Beggs driving them along with some great bass playing, and Mr Hackett's playing is as exceptional as it has always been.
I did wonder if it might be an idea to start a 'Your Notifications' thread just so that people could post information about upcoming tours, or ticket releases. I did also wonder if this thread was that, and it would duplicate this. Any thoughts?
Paul Simon 17th July in Milan.

Just got home from seeing Paul Simon in Nottingham, I know not quite as good as Milan
Stunning show, I could have sat through the whole show again and probably enjoyed it even more.

Denis,
I fancy that and can kill two birds with one stone,I can stay with my step daughter and spend some time with my grand children.
Could also drop into JN's and a few others on the way up and down if they are up for it.?

I am going to regress to the Eighties and go to a Jean-Michel Jarre concert on Friday night.
But in my defence, it is free. Being paid for by the richest Head of State in Europe to celebrate his wedding. Yep it's their Serene Highnesses Bert and Charlene of Monaco.
The whole Principality is starting to look very party like now though and the stage for the concert(s) (The Eagles are also playing this week, but that's for Monégasque residents and groupies) is across the whole harbour.
I saw Jean Michel Jarre play Docklands, before there were any buildings there I seem to recall.
But if there's one thing Monaco does better than anywhere else that I have ever visited, it's fireworks, and there will be plenty of them afterwards, so I am looking forward to it.
An Evening with Todd Rundgren on 04-10-11 7:00PM at Jazz Cafe.
The Jazz Cafe nights are - Mon 3rd; Tue 4th & Wed 5th October

Judas Priest tonight and Dream Theater on Friday
Next for me is the Stax revue with Steve Cropper, DD Dunn, Eddie Floyd on Sunday 24th at Perth concert hall.
Then on Nov 11 at HMV playhouse Edinburgh It's Zappa plays Zappa playing Apostrophe in it's entirety.
Last night, Paul Simon in the Arena di Milano.
Same voice as 40 years ago, great band, great songs, very good sound. I can't stand people dancing around me, or chatting continuously (isn't it a concert, after all?) or filming him singing The sound of silence with cellphones, but I suppose it's age.
And I suppose this is why we have expensive stereos, too.
