Is a Hydra really worth it for me?

Looking at a Grahams Hydra to go with the 92R/90.3, Flatcap2, CD5I (soon CD5x).

Further upgrades are some way off.

Am I really going to see a perceivable audible benefit from the Hydra or is it just something for higher end equipment than mine? There is some logistical advantage but that on it's own doesn't really justify the cost.

hi,

The one learning curve i learnt - Do not tin the wires that go on the 13 amp plug that plugs into the socket. Wire the plug as normal with a crabtree plug, to me this made a big difference.
(uk-240 volt)-( sorry to get on one, just had a great evening with my pensioner slimeline active setup in a very small room and, it works Winker

I once tinned coax wire that went into an fm aeriel and lost 50% of the signal, we live and learn.
