Oh, come on Mike - how can a single, lonely, companionless posting be a 'duplicate'? It's like the sound of one hand clapping.

Go in, admit it - you're just trying to bump up your score.

*** Message to P.S. - can you deduct 10 'penalty points' from Mike's total? ***

The forum was screwing up this afternoon. I was having difficulty posting, and I wasn't sure whether it was the forum or my Internet connection. Consequently, I accidentally started the same thread twice. (That's not so bad... Mick created three copies of his thread.)

Actually, I did. Because the original message on the two threads were dups, when I deleted the spurious message, the thread started by the other message disappeared. I quickly re-added another third intance of the original message (I had the text saved in a MS-Word window), and the other thread magically re-appeared. Therefore I decided to just edit it to say "Dup" and to leave it be. Even that operation was performed with some trepidation and care, considering my earlier experiences.

This forum software is crap, but we all knew that already. I just think it's laughable that the Mana forum is now running on the same software.
