Creek Tuner T43/Naim NAT05

Good morning,

Has anybody ever compared these two tuners? What do you think? (having in mind that the Creek is quite a bit cheeper)

I've not heard the NAT05. However, I'm very happy with my T43. I don't listen to very much radio, though, and when I do it's usually for background music. I'll say this: it doesn't sound bad beside my CDS2 (which can't be said for my Rega P3).

Like Mike, haven't done a side by side test but can confirm that in a poor signal area (which seems to include all of Scotland) the Creek holds onto the signal like glue

Reto

My NAT 03 murdered the Creek.

I had both at the time.

If you can afford the Naim tuner, there is no comparison.

The Creek tuner is good and reminds me of older Arcam tuners, warm and highly listenable.

Soundstaging isn't its strongest point either.

The NAT05 in comparison is in a different class, its a cracking tuner.

I use a Nat05 in one system and an Audiolab 8000T in my other system. Both walk all over the Creek sound quality wise.
