Experience with OL motor on original Xerxes?

Hi all.
Has anyone tried the Origin Live motor kit on an original Roksan Xerxes? I've acquired one for my "experimental" office system and thought it might be worth a try. Rest of the table is a SME IV and a Goldring Excel.

There's a guy on audiogon who has sold a couple of xerxes recently with the origin live kit fitted.Seller is called teatime66.I bought an original supply and motor off the guy.
Might be worth having a chat with them.
Considering the old motor I bought had the bearing fitted to it,they must be rigidly mounting the new motor to the plinth.
In my experience,the spring tension is critical on the stock motor in getting the best sound from the Xerxes.
Doing away with the bearing/spring would probably alter the sound as much as the change to the DC motor.
Works a peach on an original PT though
