If you wait a few days MilesSmiles and Lontano will be able let you know if they start counting now.
Me though about 250 a quarter my vinyl collection.

About 8 metres worth and two ever growing stacks on the window sill. I think that is about 600

I lost count about four or five years ago. I estimate about 4500. Hell, I have over 500 of just Beethoven piano sonatas. I may need help - finding an appropriate storage solution.

To put that in perspective. Purchasing one CD per day, it would take almost 25 years to reach this amount. Amazing.

I am in a similar situation, even concerning the Beethoven Sonatas.

Haven't counted them for several years, but last time it came to >4000 LPs and just under 2000 CDs. They sure take up a hell of a lot of room.
Of course, the sad thing is that most of them will never get another playing by me.

CDs - official release 1200-1300
Vinyl - 150
CDs - bootlegs/live recordings/sessions 1200 ish?
Probably 500-800gig of Flac files of live recordings waiting to be burned to CD and DVD, or deleted.
No Van Morrison or Rory Gallagher either.
Around 70 live soundboard Led Zeppelin recordings, many complete shows. Plus everything they have released officially, two or three times for many albums.
20 official Underworld live releases, and 50 bootlegs/webcasts/etc. Everything they have released on CD, or vinyl, that I have managed to get hold of, maybe a couple of singles missing.
Must be well over 50 Pearl Jam official live releases, maybe over 100.
150-200 Tangerine Tree and Leaves (fan/bootleg) releases.
12 Miles Davis box sets, I am sure others have more, plus 30 or so albums.

About 4000 LP's and 1600 CD's. Huge collection of mid 60's-early 70's Southern Soul on vinyl and the accompanying 70's Black gospel.
