Chris,
I have just found John's profile on Drummerworld and confirms his Harmony Row appearance. An excellent drummer who has played with some fabulous musicians.
Denis
Denis & ROTF,
Thanks for the links & info, unfortunately i've been out of touch with John since '82, when we corrosponded & discussed the album - "Land Of Cockayne"
Kind regards,

Agent,
Do these have PCM soundtracks?
I will check on Amazon, but they frequently DON'T state, even on the DVD boxes.
Thx,

Hi M
Only just saw your question. Joe Satriani is in PCM Stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. Gary Moore is in DTS Digital Surround Sound, Dolby Surround 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo only. I prefer DTS when available.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards
Stuart

Adrian,
Any good??
Yes it is. I went to the premier at the cinema with the band in attendance. Unfortunately it was a crap cinema and some unsociable audience members there so I did not enjoy it. At home it is much better.

Just finished the 4 hour Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers documentary that was on BBC4. A really good film about an amazing band.

Surprisingly enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would do. I like the way it highlights what a fantastic drummer Gavin Harrison is. So glad I saw this tour.

We all met up on that tour and had a good time and made some good friends.

Sorry, should have said - watching it through Blu-ray and 2-channel through the 552. Very very good. And by the way, yes Stu - that gig at the O2 was great for many reasons.

It's a superb and thoroughly recommended BD/DVD but Hampden Park was a better concert. He, the band and the audience were totally on fire that night even though it pissed down for most of the day.

How about "pissed down for most of the day and evening"?
My son took me for father's day, which was wonderful, but it was a long slog of a day. I'd damaged my back a year before so standing about in the pissing rain for twelve hours was just what I didn't need. We got into the bull pen/pit/whatever it's called so we were very close to the stage but surrounded by some truly objectionable people. He came on late and I was ready to leave my son and wait for him in the car. Once the Boss came on it was amazing. Probably the best concert I've seen.
