Super duper. A great evening in Hyde Park.

His best ever live concert?

It's a superb and thoroughly recommended BD/DVD but Hampden Park was a better concert. He, the band and the audience were totally on fire that night even though it pissed down for most of the day.

Thanks TomK! Big Grin

I've got "Shine a Light" on Blu Ray. It's OK - a bit stilted; performed in front of a "Celebrity" audience & lacking a bit of excitement.

Well filmed & good sound though.

As Tonym write the movie is good if you consider the product but in the end it does not have the impact of movies like the one taken in rio only 4/5 years ago
(what christina aguilera has to do with it?)

Btw only 9,50 euros gone.

Not DVDs ... but if you have Sky then it's worth checking out the concerts on Sky Arts especially in HD.

Not a DVD but on Turner movies last night they did a 50s theme. First was a B&W teen flick with tawdry storyline. Teen wants to wear a strapless gown to prom oh horrors. It was Tuesday Weld as the tart. Movie was 'Rock Rock Rock!' I caught the last half when all the music acts would pop on stage, some really great doo wap and crooners. Tho they all had to be lip syncing because backup bands didn't fit the sound and done obviously in a recording studio.

Next up was 'Rock Around the Clock' with Bill Haley and the Comets, tho they shared the screen with The Bellboys and a Latin group. Final scene with Haley's band tearing it up with antics of bass player and trumpets was great fun.
