A nod is as good as a wink

It's Saturday night / Friday morning and I'm listening to the Faces really loud after drinking quite to many beers.
And it is in times like these my Naim/Epos setup works at it best.
Isn't that funny?
Wondering which speakercable and direction works best with Rod Stewart ?
Propably white wrongway Nordeast PMS.
Sorry. Just wanted to share.

I'm not surprised, this album is very dynamic, one of my personal fav, kudos if you have the vinyl. With or without the drinks, it WILL sound good on naim.

I bought The First Step a couple of weeks ago and I haven't heard it since I was a kid and my sister played nothing but the Faces all day and all night. I bought it mainly for Flying, but a fantastic album and enough to make me want to get more. Shame that all these 70's albums are so short! I guess we didn't know any better at the time!

Part of the reason many of these albums are so good is that they are so short. All the filler was simply not included. The 70+ minutes to play with on CD means groups feel obliged to fill up the space with any old crap.
I have noticed more recently that groups have started producing shorter albums again though (the shins, weezer, etc)
