Welcome to you all who have managed to surf to the other side, we had hoped it would have been smoother. We hope you will all appreciate the new forum and its facilities. The new levels of control we have mean we should be able to offer you all the service you deserve. Enjoy. ps we will be trying to create a link through to the old forum archives, this make take a while so please be patient.

Hi Paul,
How do we qualify for the different levels of membership?
I notice Tony and Mike are already "members" whilst almost everyone else is still "junior".
Is it like airlines with their frequent flyer programs? What's it based on (posts or number of characters written) or is it just based on peer review?
Andy
PS. I'm with everyone else with the "new messages" thing (although this is a lot quicker than the old forum - so far...)

Paul,
Hello - made it over and pleased to see some familiar faces here.
Great to hear you are working on a link to the old forum.
I too am confused by the membership tiers - can I swap you a free flight for a top tier membership title?!!

Interesting to see that the Forum/conference continues after, what, four years? The "new" conference isn't really new any more--how long were we using the "old" forum before the switch to the new system?
Still some of the same old faces hanging around, some of the old-timers seem to have moved on, and yet I find myself looking forward to checking out the Forum almost every day, at least once or twice...
