Bi-wire solution

Just thought I would share this with you.
For many years I was happy with LP12, 72, 140, no name CD player and HB2 speakers. About 7 years ago I decided that a proper CD player was in order and I ended up with a CD3.5. Not long afterwards a household accident (read godkid) put pay to the Heybrooks. To keep the missus happy I ended up with the small Audio Physic Step SLE (bi-wire option). In spite of Naim's advice to the contrary I found the best sounds coming out when bi-wiring with NACA5.
I recently had the amps serviced, added a Hicap and a CDX2. There was a tremendous amount of detail coming through but it really didn't sound right and it was more than just burn in. I revisited the forum and wondered whether it could be the bi-wiring. I ran a single wire to the speakers, made a simple bridge with NACA5 and bugger me if there wasn't a night and day difference - for the better.
Today, considering which spades to put on the end of my provisional bridge, my dealer loaned me the Phonosophie bi-wire adapters. All I can say is that if you are currently electing not to bi-wire and using a simple bridge or even something more sophisticated you should give these a listen. I just can't stop listening to music. To make sure I wasn't getting too carried away, I have replaced provisional bridge and there is, to my ears, a clear difference. Sorry for the essay, but I just had to share this.
Also - I seem to have posted in the wrong forum and can't figure how to shift it to the hi-fi forum. Got a permission error when I tried to delete the post. Am a muppet
