Agree too, but the user interface of the new forum provider should be as good as the one we have now.

I'd like one

  • that is available most if not all of the time
  • that does backups on a regular basis.
  • where the search facility works
  • where you can have sub-threads within threads.
  • one that doesn't lose your posts

Yeah the VBulletin system does seem better. Although TSG I where used to go did have a huge disruption when it was hacked and effectively killed all data.

I'll settle for good availability and quick response, the performance of Infopoop is dire, by either of these measures, for the majority of the time. The rest of the issues are mainly icing on the cake.

Gary - A suggestion; why not change this thread to a poll (if that can be done!) or start a new one. If enough of us vote for a change some notice might be taken. Smile
