Yes I know.

Unless Schummy really messes up he's so much faster than everybody else it will be a parade a long way behind him

I'm not so sure Ferrari will have it all their own way tomorrow - I hope not, for the sake of entertainment value.

Did anyone else think that Coulthard had the tone and look of someone resigned to being past their peak with no chance of a championship?

I watched it live today and thought it was worth watching.

Nah! - it wasn't worth getting up that early for it. Saw the re-run this pm though and pleased to see Button get a podium after working so long for it. With the progress BAR are making this early in the season, it makes you wonder whether it's been Villeneuve holding them back all this time?

Looks like its going to be a very long season for everyone else..
MS seemed to have the wood on Montoya despite the commentators getting very excited about JPM closing the gap. Think Michael doing just enough to win & no more.
Hope Ruebens can win a couple this year & bring on Scott Dixon for 2005!

Well, "doing just enough" is not typical MS. He usually sets up a furious tempo right from the start, builds up a big gap and then cruises for the last couple of laps. I HOPE, for the sake of the championship, that he had to drive on the limit for the whole race to keep JPM on a distance. Didn't Montoya set the fastest lap, btw?

Maybe the solution to our problems is for the broadcasters to drop the FI Follow My Leader thing and show the US Champ-Car or IRL series instead. They used to be on Ch.5 a few seasons ago but dont seem to be anymore. Which is a shame (IMO)

I don't think "doing just enough" is a very easy thing to do. Concentration and focus go, and then it all goes horribly wrong. It is easier to keep nailing it.
(In my extremely limited experience anyway).
