Macchu Pichu & the Inca Trail

Hi folks.

Has anyone done the Inca Trail? Any recommendations as to tour operator, or anything else? We've always planned to do it, and this could be the year. Especially interested in any relevant travelogues that you might know of.

I'd unequivocally recommend Exodus and Explore as travel companies, have been various wild places over 15 yrs with each, including Bolivia and Peru (but not inca trail).

Well respected companies, good staff and professional if any snags occurr. May not be cheapest.
