More ARM questions LP12

Posted by: popeye34 on 19 March 2004

Does anyone out there have any opinions on arms of a more reasonable price for LP12: Ive seen the likes of the ARO and various Linn arms get the thumbs up, but what about for example the Bluenote U3 or the Roksan Nima, arms much more in my price bracket but Ive no idea about their fit (physical and acoustical) with my LP12.

My aim is for the system that just plays music, the equipment disappears.

A new cart is also going to be part of the plan, along with the rest of my system, though I'd prefer to re-use any components if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks and regards,Tim.

Second hand Ittok or Akito would be a good place to start.

hy Tim!
it is said (ithink in TNT magazine)that a rega rb 250 with origin
live structural modification fits perfect to
an lp12 (only other armbord and spacers for the height are needed.) Maybe there are guys in this forum who tried?if Roksan or blunote will not fit(soundwise) you will loose a lot of money.good offers for 250 or rega2 with arm
on ebay.
